Traumatic Brain Injury:
a life changing event that can affect everyone

A severe TBI needs a focused therapy programme.

A traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a neurological condition that can occur to anyone at any age. It is usually caused by a blow or other traumatic injury to the head or body.

The degree of damage can depend on several factors, including the nature of the injury and the force of impact.

It is always good to seek advice from a doctor after an accident involving the head, even if all appears good. The doctor will give you guidance on what to watch out for in the weeks following the accident.

In severe cases a patient will be treated in a hospital and your doctor will give you advice on further measures.

If you suffer profound implications from traumatic brain injury, an inpatient rehabilitation can help you in your recovery to regain lost functions.

At cereneo, we first assess your resources and impairments before our interdisciplinary team of medical experts develops a customized rehabilitation plan focusing on the areas you are having difficulties with in order to achieve the best possible recovery of the whole brain.
