Our three nursing trainees are an integral part of the Nursing team at cereneo . For two of them, the countdown is on: they are about to complete their training and are currently preparing intensively for their final exams this summer.
In May, the practical exam will take place at our Clinic . During this exam, you will demonstrate skills from daily nursing practice, which will be assessed by an external quality assurance expert. Whether it's administering medication, measuring blood glucose, drawing venous or capillary blood, patient communication, daily preventative care, or assisting with personal nursing – your knowledge, acquired step by step over the past three years, will be tested.
A few days after the practical exam, another important component follows: The trainees present a real patient case from the cereneo Clinic . In the subsequent expert discussion, their knowledge is thoroughly tested again – with a particular focus on how well they can link theory and practice.
The transfer day proved to be an important milestone in their preparation! Through intensive, hands-on exercises, our trainees were able to refresh and solidify their knowledge. The focus was on clinical conditions frequently encountered in our facility – multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and Stroke – as well as core nursing tasks that are also part of the final exam. Measurements were taken, Nursing was provided, patients were mobilized, and, most importantly, they learned together.
In addition to providing technical support, one thing was particularly important to us: helping the trainees gain self-confidence, solidify their processes, and feel completely well cared for. Our team accompanies them through this final phase of their training with expertise, empathy, and great dedication.
